About

Multicultural belonging and Freedom

I was born into a German-Iranian family and grew up in West-Berlin, Germany. My multicultural belonging led me to venture into the world. After 20 years abroad, I’ve found my home in Brussels, Belgium, where I live today.

When I was a child, West-Berlin was still an island surrounded by a wall with border crossings, and soldiers with machine guns, and a death-strip with landmines. For me this was normal. And then, on a grey November day, the unimageable happened: the Wall crumbled. From one day to another the world changed as tens of thousands of people from East-Berlin came over to ‘our side’. I saw people laughing, crying, dancing in the streets. I saw strangers falling into each other’s arms and holding each other tight. I saw people, who had overcome their deepest fear and who were truly free. The Wall was still standing, but it had lost all of its meaning. It was magical.

It took me many years to truly understand what I had witnessed that day: that when we overcome our deepest fears and walk together, systems crumble and we create a new reality. Nothing can hold us back if we have a clear vision of where we’re headed.

As a mother, I envision a world that is driven by love, wholeness and generosity, not by fear. My mission is to support value-driven leaders to use their transformative power to move the world from a place of fear and scarcity to wholeness and generosity.

One place to start with this transformation is our workplace. I believe that it is no coincidence that so many of us feel empty and exhausted at work. We are meant to live in circles and in harmony with nature, but we are stuck in cubicles and hierarchical pyramids that disconnect us from our life energy, our community and our true power. I offer insights and tools to reconnect us with our inner energy sources.

What sets me apart is my style and my unconventional approach. My dynamic leadership circles build on findings from diverse fields including neuroscience, business management, psychology, conflict transformation, restorative justice and the study of how physical movement affects creative thinking.
